The project “Take charge” appeared in Russia – this is something like car sharing, only for external batteries. In a special terminal, you can rent a power bank and charge your phone.
About 200 stations appeared in Moscow and the region, where you can take a battery with a charging cable for three connectors – Apple’s Lightning, an old microUSB and a modern USB Type-C. In the future they will be more. Using the site, you need to register, find the nearest terminal on the map and enter the bank card details – the machine will issue a battery. You can return it to any of the same machine.
If the phone is already dead, then the machines have built-in cables for recharging. You can revive the smartphone and get a code for renting the battery.
If you do not return the power bank within an hour, then the payment for the daily rent will be charged – 100 rubles. If you later do not return it and use it, then after 30 days you can keep the battery for yourself. So, for 3000 rubles, you can get an external battery.
